From the surface parity report (2026-08-18), defect 8.

The CLI has no path to list membership at all: item create lacks a --list flag, there is no set-list command, and the SetList client wrapper (pkg/client/items.go:151) has no caller anywhere in cmd/. The web "convert to a job" flow (SetList "") is equally unreachable.

Fix: add --list to item create and an item set-list command (empty value converts back to a standalone job).

Delivered in PR #143 (merged): item create gained --list, and the new item set-list [list-uid] moves an item onto a list or (with no list-uid) converts it to a standalone job. Verified live.
