Summary

Add JaCoCo coverage to the Android unit tests and surface the number in CI, so the Android report matches the Go side.

Why

check.yml's report posts Go coverage on every PR. The Android workflow (PR #75) now reports unit-test pass/fail/skipped counts, but no coverage — there is a **Coverage:** line for Go and nothing equivalent for Android. This closes that gap.

Scope

  • Apply the JaCoCo Gradle plugin to the Android modules (android/app, android/data) and wire a jacocoTestReport task off the debug unit-test run.
  • In android.yml's build job, generate the report and parse the coverage percentage into a job output, alongside the existing total/failed/skipped.
  • Add a Coverage line (or column) to the sticky <!-- android-test-report --> PR comment in the report job.
  • Optionally upload the HTML report as an artifact (v3 API only, like the APK).

Notes

  • No coverage gate/threshold to start — report only, matching how Go coverage is shown, not enforced.
  • Keep it debug-variant only, consistent with the existing count aggregation (the release variant runs the same suites and would double-count).

Definition of done

  • A PR touching Android shows an Android coverage number in its test-report comment.
  • make check and the android workflow stay green.
### Summary Add JaCoCo coverage to the Android unit tests and surface the number in CI, so the Android report matches the Go side. ### Why `check.yml`'s report posts Go coverage on every PR. The Android workflow (PR #75) now reports unit-test pass/fail/skipped counts, but **no coverage** — there is a `**Coverage:**` line for Go and nothing equivalent for Android. This closes that gap. ### Scope - Apply the JaCoCo Gradle plugin to the Android modules (`android/app`, `android/data`) and wire a `jacocoTestReport` task off the debug unit-test run. - In `android.yml`'s `build` job, generate the report and parse the coverage percentage into a job output, alongside the existing `total`/`failed`/`skipped`. - Add a **Coverage** line (or column) to the sticky `<!-- android-test-report -->` PR comment in the `report` job. - Optionally upload the HTML report as an artifact (v3 API only, like the APK). ### Notes - No coverage gate/threshold to start — report only, matching how Go coverage is shown, not enforced. - Keep it debug-variant only, consistent with the existing count aggregation (the release variant runs the same suites and would double-count). ### Definition of done - A PR touching Android shows an Android coverage number in its test-report comment. - `make check` and the android workflow stay green.
